“As a Teen and Miss competitor in the Miss Oklahoma Organization, I have been pushed, questioned and challenged. My preparation process required self-discovery and building self confidence to be the best me possible. Involvement in campus activities, sports, and higher education classes developed specific areas of my life, however, none of these developed the whole person in all areas simultaneously like the Miss America Program. I am honored to be the face and voice of an organization that empowers young women and will do my best to make Oklahoma proud this year.”
